1. About This Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Zoom integration feature within Morbit Studio ("the Integration"). By authorising the Morbit Studio application through the Zoom App Marketplace, you ("the Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms apply specifically to the Zoom integration and should be read alongside our general Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
2. What the Integration Does
The Morbit Studio Zoom integration connects to your organisation's Zoom account to retrieve and display the following information within the Morbit Studio platform:
Zoom Rooms
Room names, locations, and configuration details
Device information (make, model, serial number, firmware version)
Room health status and active alerts
Location hierarchy (building, floor, etc.)
Call Quality Metrics
Meeting participant data and quality of service metrics, including packet loss, jitter, latency, and bitrate
Meeting-level metrics and historical meeting data
User Information
User profile information (name, email address, role)
Real-time user presence status (e.g. Available, In a Meeting, Do Not Disturb)
Account Settings
Account-level configuration, used solely to validate and support your tenant connection
This integration is strictly read-only. Morbit Studio does not create, modify, or delete any data within your Zoom account.
3. Data Access and Permissions
To deliver the above functionality, the Integration uses Zoom's Server-to-Server OAuth and requests the following categories of permission scope:
Zoom Rooms (room details, devices, locations, alerts)
Dashboard metrics (room health, meeting metrics, participant QoS)
Meeting data (current and historical)
User profile and presence status
Account settings
A full list of individual OAuth scopes and the purpose of each can be found in our Zoom Scope Reference support article.
You must be a Zoom account administrator with sufficient permissions to authorise this Integration on behalf of your organisation.
4. How We Handle Your Data
Storage: All data retrieved from Zoom is stored within Morbit Studio, hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the eu-west-1 (Ireland) region. Data does not leave the European Union.
Encryption: All data is encrypted at rest in our database. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) at all times.
Retention: Zoom data is retained for a period of 12 months, in line with our standard data retention policy.
Purpose limitation: Data retrieved from Zoom is used solely to display room status, device health, call quality metrics, and user presence information within the Morbit Studio platform for IT and operations monitoring purposes. It is not used for any other purpose.
No data selling or sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your Zoom data with any third parties, except where required by law or where your data is accessible to a managed service partner under a separate contract between you and that partner (see our Privacy Policy for details).
No advertising or profiling: Your Zoom data is not used for advertising, marketing profiling, or training of artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
5. Customer Responsibilities
By authorising this Integration, you confirm that:
You have the authority to connect your organisation's Zoom account to Morbit Studio.
Your organisation holds a valid Zoom Business plan or above, as required for the API features used by this Integration.
You will notify Morbit promptly if you become aware of any unauthorised access to or misuse of your Zoom data within Morbit Studio.
You will de-authorise the Integration via the Zoom App Marketplace if you no longer wish for Morbit Studio to access your Zoom account.
6. De-authorisation and Data Deletion
You may revoke the Integration at any time by uninstalling the Morbit Studio app from your Zoom account via the Zoom App Marketplace. Upon de-authorisation, we will permanently delete all Zoom data associated with your account from our systems within 10 calendar days, in accordance with Zoom's Marketplace Developer Agreement.
To request early deletion of your data, contact us at gdpr@morbit.co.uk.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Integration is provided as part of the Morbit Studio service. Our liability in connection with the Integration is subject to the limitations set out in your Morbit Studio service agreement and our Terms and Conditions.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or completeness of data provided by Zoom's APIs, or for any interruption to the Integration caused by changes to Zoom's platform, API policies, or your Zoom account configuration.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the Morbit Studio platform or by email. Continued use of the Integration following notification of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
